Yes. A transfer request moves through Created, Accepted, Rejected and Approved statuses, and approving it creates the outgoing shipment and the matching incoming receipt, ready to process through your normal workflow.
No. Record the transfer once, and approving it creates the outgoing shipment from one owner and the matching incoming receipt into the other. The receipt and shipment numbers are recorded back on the transfer.
Yes. Internal transfers create both the shipment and the receipt in one step, including across companies.
