Our philosophy in developing this new
version of ABECAS was to (1) provide our
users with a system without limits, wherever
possible, (2) build a component based,
object oriented system, (3) incorporate a
standard open SQL database, (4) incorporate
the functionality of our "legacy" ABECAS
into the new system progressively over time,
as our resources and user needs dictate, and
(5) employ a development environment that
will grow with us and our users over time
without limits!
