The Sales Orders Management Software
module is a flexible business rules driven
sales management system that adroitly
manages orders from quotes through picking
and shipment. It integrates with the
Inventory Management module for the sale of
inventory products with pricing rules,
shipping and other information coming from
the order profile, the customer or the ship
to. Non-inventory items can be sold and
taxes, freight, and other charges added. It
integrates with the Receivables module for
credit control and open receivables; with
the Freight Management module for managing
deliveries; with Production Management for
orders requiring production; with Purchase
Orders for drop ship orders and required
items: and with the Accounting modules.
Orders are managed by stage—quote, plan,
future order, pending order, assigned,
picked, shipped/completed—with each stage
updating inventory availability, as
applicable. Various processes can be set to
automatically occur based on the stage
changing, such as the assignment of
inventory to the order. Master orders can be
taken and “split” for shipment, as required.
Items can be drop shipped with the PO being
automatically created. Items not shipped can
be placed on back order or lost. Consignment
sales/transfers can be made and later sold
to the consignee based on the consigned
inventory. Deposits and payments may be
received against orders at any time and
immediately update the accounting and bank
balance.
Up to 5 salespeople can be attached to an
order with the commission amount being
automatically calculated based on flexible
rules and rates. Commissions and other sales
related payables transfer to the Settlements
Processing module for later settlement based
on invoices/credits or cash received..
