The ABECAS™ Insight Enterprise
Management Software system is a complete and
feature rich solution for Wholesalers,
Distributors, Light Manufacturers, Growers,
Packers and Shippers. It handles the
operational aspects of the business
including sales, shipping, deliveries,
purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and
production. It integrates seamlessly with
the Accounting Software System as well as
the various other ABECAS™ Insight modules
and components. It is a single source
solution that allows you to select the
modules you need to meet your requirements.
It can integrate with other in-house
software systems as well as electronically
exchange data with your trading partners.
Underlying the Enterprise System is a
flexible Inventory that integrates with all
aspects of the business. Items may be
tracked at the item or lot level, with the
lot level providing full traceability from
production or receipt to consumption. Serial
numbered items can be tracked, if required.
Inventory availability is available on a
real time basis throughout along with the
associated transaction details. Sales orders
may be taken on-line, by a Customer Service
Representative or as an electronic transfer.
Inventory is immediately updated with this
demand. Purchase orders may be printed,
emailed, faxed or transferred
electronically. As items are received, they
immediately update inventory availability
and cost. Production can be planned based on
current or historical sales or prior plans,
checked for resource conflicts and released
to production. The production process can be
managed in detail with inventory being
updated along the way. Each module generates
the accounting entries required for full
accounting management, including
Receivables, Payables, General Ledger and
Cost Accounting.

can be customized with user labels, lookup
selections, layout and security. The
standard ABECAS™ Insight reports, forms and
labels are customizable. Ad hoc reports
provide access to user specific queries.
Most importantly, business rules and default
values can be defined to provide consistent
and correct data entry and processing. Data
can be easily captured at the lowest level
through the use of
handheld
(mobile)
computers. Data can be exchanged with
trading partners through the
EDI (electronic
data interchange) option. Various processes
can be automated with the
Task Agent
component supplied as part of the system.
Dashboards can be used to show the
operational exceptions in real time as well
as highlight key performance indicators at
all levels of the business. The goal is to
automate IT processes, provide easy access
to data and convert data into information
that can be used to better and more
